Sky Bridge Overview
The Langkawi Sky Bridge sits atop Machinchang Mountain at an elevation of 700 meters, making it one of the world's highest single-pylon suspension bridges. Spanning 125 meters in length and 1.8 meters in width, the bridge is supported by a 85-meter-tall pylon suspended between two peaks. From the bridge, visitors enjoy panoramic views of the Langkawi archipelago with breathtaking scenery.

Tour Process
- Arrive at Oriental Village Visitor Center
- Buy SkyCab Tickets + Sky Bridge Tickets
- Take the cable car up the mountain (approximately 15 minutes, in two segments)
- Arrive at the Summit Station, then walk to the Sky Bridge entrance (approximately 10 minutes).
- Pass security check and board the Sky Bridge.
- Enjoy panoramic views and take photos (approx. 30-60 minutes)
- Return to cable car station, descend

Highlights of the Sky Bridge
1. Panoramic view
Enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Langkawi Island, including the main island, surrounding islets, and the Andaman Sea. On clear days, you can see the southern coastline of Thailand.
2. Glass Floor Area
A glass floor spans the center of the bridge, with a 700-meter drop beneath your feet—thrilling for sure. Not recommended for those with acrophobia.
3. Photo Spot
Scenic viewing platforms at both ends of the bridge offer the best vantage points for capturing photos of the Sky Bridge and panoramic views. For optimal lighting, we recommend shooting in the early morning or late afternoon.
Practical Tips
- Best time: 9:30-11:00 AM or 15:00-17:00 PM, avoiding midday heat and peak crowds
- Weather Impact: The Sky Bridge may close due to high winds or thunderstorms. Check the weather forecast before departure.
- Wear comfortable sneakers. Avoid high heels or flip-flops.
- Caution: The bridge sways noticeably. Not recommended for those with a fear of heights.
- Sun protection: UV rays are strong at the summit. Apply sunscreen and wear a hat for shade.
- Wait times: Longer on weekends and holidays. We recommend purchasing an Express Pass.
- Combine your trip: Visit nearby Seven Wells Waterfall and the Tropical Rainforest Park on the same day.
